Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer / DG Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Diesel Generator (DG) sets, electrical panels, and related power systems while ensuring timely and efficient customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance of Diesel Generator (DG) sets.
- Carry out engine oil changes, filter replacements, coolant checks, and battery inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in DG sets.
- Attend breakdown calls and provide on-site technical support.
- Conduct load testing and performance evaluation of generators.
- Prepare and maintain service reports with customer approvals.
- Install and commission new DG sets at customer locations.
- Handle DG panel wiring, control panel troubleshooting, and electrical maintenance.
- Perform cable laying, termination, earthing, and panel connection work.
- Install and maintain Changeover Switches and AMF Panels.
- Inspect and troubleshoot battery chargers, alternators, and AVR systems.
- Conduct electrical safety inspections and insulation testing.
- Maintain lighting and power systems associated with DG installations.
- Coordinate with customers and explain faults, repairs, and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure prompt response to emergency breakdown situations.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in DG Set servicing, generator maintenance, or electrical maintenance.
- Education: 1) ITI Electrician / Diesel Mechanic / Wireman
2)Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Knowledge of DG engines, alternators, and control panels.
- Electrical wiring and panel troubleshooting expertise.
- Strong fault diagnosis and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Multimeter, Clamp Meter, and Megger.
- Basic computer and mobile reporting knowledge.
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving license are mandatory.
- Willingness to travel for site service calls.
- Experience working with generator brands such as Cummins, Kirloskar, Mahindra Powerol, Ashok Leyland, and Escorts Kubota.

Working Hours:
Monday to Saturday | 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
